Missouri’s disabled and those providing services to the disabled are marking the tenth anniversary of enactment of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Governor Carnahan attended an ADA event today in Jefferson City, saying state government is making great strides in conforming with the ADA, but there is still a way to go to eliminate all obstacles. Carnahan says it’s important to make all offices and areas of the state capitol accessible to those who have disabilities.
