A new state program to treat Alzheimer’s patients is underway in Missouri. 16 nursing homes scattered throughout the state will experiment with new treatment programs for Alzheimer’s patients. 420 beds will be dedicated to the new medical focus. The nursing homes will not only offer new methods of treatment, they will even offer new construction designed to help Alzheimer’s patients feel more comfortable and less threatened.
