Mizzou Set for Scrimmage

August 25, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

With just a week and a day before the opening game against Western Illinois, the Missouri Tigers will scrimmage tonight and tomorrow. Neither workout will be open to the public. Projected starting safety Gary Anthony will sit out the scrimmage with a sore ankle. Missouri has reached an agreement with Bowling Green State to play a three-game series, starting next season. Bowling Green is the alma mater of Tiger coach Larry Smith. The teams will play twice in Columbia, and once at Bowling Green.
