Kansas City’s bullpen nightmare continues. The Royals blew an 8-2 lead and lost their 4th in a row, 9-8 in Toronto. Kris Wilson was the prime culprit this time. He allowed 5 runs in just 2/3 of an inning, allowing the Blue Jays to tie the score at 8 in the 7th. In the 8th, Carlos Delgado hit his second homer of the game off Andy Larkin, giving the Jays the lead. The collapse wasted a decent effort by Blake Stein, who allowed three runs in six innings. Johnny Damon had two hits, including his 11th home run. Mike Sweeney and Gregg Zaun each had two hits, and Jermaine Dye drove in two runs. The Royals will try to snap their losing streak tonight at home against Boston.
