The preliminary hearing for suspected serial killer John Edward Robinson will be open to the public. A judge has decided the publicity won’t hurt Robinson’s right to a fair trial. Robinson’s attorneys had tried to block media access. They claimed media exposure would make it difficult to find an impartial jury. Robinson’s preliminary hearing is scheduled October 2nd.
