Toronto lit up Jose Santiago for back-to-back homers in the 8th inning, and roared past the Royals for a 7-5 victory. Brad Fullmer hit a three run homer off Santiago to wipe out a 5-3 Royals lead. Tony Batista followed with his 36th homer. Dan Reichert got a no decision after allowing three earned runs in 7 innings. He entered the 8th with a 5-3 lead, but allowed a walk and a single. Santiago relieved and immediately gave up the two home runs. It was Santiago’s 5th blown save, as he fell to 6-4. Rey Sanchez had three hits for the Royals and Joe Randa drove in two runs. The teams wrap up their two-game series tonight. Blake Stein will pitch against Esteban Loiaza.
