Rison Signs With Rival Raiders

August 22, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

If you think about it, there is one team in the NFL that is perfect fit for a former Chief player with a troubled past. And so, receiver Andre Rison, cut by the Chiefs last week, has signed a one-year deal with the rival Oakland Raiders. Rison will return to Arrowhead Stadium with the Raiders on Ocotber 15th. Former Chief Rich Gannon is Oakland’s quarterback, and Chief defensive tackle Chester McGlockton is a former Raider. The Chiefs cut nine players on Monday, none of them surprises. Kansas City must waive five more players today to get down to the 65-man limit.
