St. Louisan Rusty Wallace took on four tires when the rest of the field took on two, and that allowed him to pull away at the end and win the NASCAR event in Michigan yesterday. Wallace dropped into third place when he made the tire change, but a caution tightened the field and he took the lead for good with 15 laps to go, and cruised to his third win of the season. Ricky Rudd finished second.
