It’s all but certain that Pat Buchanan will be the Reform Party’s presidential candidate in Missouri. It was Buchanan’s name submitted to the Secretary of State’s Office by the Reform Party’s state chairman. And, barring a legal challenge, Buchanan will top the ticket. Debbie Cheshire, the Director of Elections for the Secretary of State’s Office, says the Reform Party had until August 25th to submit its choice. The Reform Party’s internal squabbles could result in a legal challenge to the decision to place Buchanan’s name on the ballot.
