Mizzou’s Dausman on Comeback Trail

August 16, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Senior wide receiver Jon Dausman wants to become a go-to guy for the Tiger offense this fall. Dausman is trying to work his way back after missing all of last season after suffering a torn ACL. He’s showing few ill effects from the injury, in fact he’s running round the practice field without a brace on that knee. Dausman says he is a tad slower, and can’t jump as high, but he has worked hard to make it back to the point where he can be effective on the football field. The Tigers are scheduled to get a break from the stifling heat today. They will practice in the morning, but Larry Smith will give his team the afternoon off. They will resume two-a-days Thursday in Mexico.
