State fair numbers are a little down this year compared to last year. About 150,00 people came to the fair Thursday through Sunday. That includes 23,000 on Thursday, 34,000 on Friday, 50,000 on Saturday, and 41,000 on Sunday. The 4 day figure compares with 155,000 people who attended the first four days of last year’s fair. Missouri State Fair marketing director Kim Allen says they still expect to hit their goal of 350,000 fairgoers before the event ends this weekend.
