Morris Cops a Plea

August 15, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Chief Bam Morris struck a deal with federal prosecutors and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and conspiracy to launder money. Morris faces 5 to 40 years in prison. In addition, his guilty plea could trigger a violation of his probation in Texas, meaning ten more years in prison there. The Kansas City Star reports other former Chiefs may have been involved in Morris’ drug ring.
