Congressman Kenny Hulshof of Columbia says federal bureaucrats have cut Medicare reimbursements to hospitals far more than Congress intended. He says some of those cuts need to be reversed, and he’s sponsored a bill to do that. He says it’s especially important at hospitals that see a high number of elderly or indigent patients. Hulshof says Congress needs to act to help struggling rural hospitals.
