A Taney County man has surrendered to authorities to face charges that he killed his infant son. Brett Svoboda has pleaded not guilty. Svoboda is charged with murder and child endangerment. An autopsy says his 54-day-old son had been squeezed so hard that his ribs were broken in 36 places. The child died last January. Svoboda is free on bond.
