DEM 2000: Plight of the supreme court

Missouri Democrats meeting in Los Angeles for the democratic national convention are hearing about the importance of the 2000 election in the shaping of the United States Supreme Court. The president of People for the American Way, Ralph Neas, says the newly elected president this fall will likely shape the United State Supreme Court for years to come. And he says a conservative court would overturn more than 100 precedents, striking at the heart of the “core progressive agenda.”
