DEM 2000: Holden lobbies for support

National attention might be focused on the presidential race, but Missouri delegates to the Democratic Convention in Los Angeles have their own work to succeed a two-term governor. State Treasurer Bob Holden spoke to the crowd at a gathering at Warner Brothers Studios. The candidate for governor reminded delegates of the tough work they have ahead of them when they return from the convention, not only in the gubernatorial race, but in a slew of legislative contests and county races.
