A Missouri congresswoman suffering from breast cancer is jumping back on the campaign trail–for her son. Kansas City-area lawmaker Pat Danner is talking to the media for the first time since revealing her illness. Danner denies that she is retiring early from office to make it easier for her son, Steve, to succeed her. She says breast cancer treatments made it impossible to stay in Washington-D-C. Danner says she’ll be help her son out as much as possible during the November election.
