Toronto knocked Royals’ starter Mac Suzuki out of the game in the 4th inning, and rolled to a 6-1 victory over Kansas City. Suzuki allowed all six runs on 10 hits in just 3 and 2/3 innings. Johnny Damon provided the Royals’ only run with his tenth home run of the season. Toronto’s Frank Castillo allowed four hits and no walks in 7 innings for his 8th consecutive victory. He is 9-5. The Royals got good relief from Kris Wilson and Andy Larkin, who combined for 5 and 1/3 shutout innings.
