August 3, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Kerry Zavagnin’s quick goal sparked the Kansas City Wizards to a 3-1 win over the Colorado Rapids. Zavagnin scored 1:56 into the game off a feed from Preki, the quickest goal in Wizards history. Miklos Molnar made it 2-0 in the 75th minute. After Colorado scored in the 85th minute to make it close, Gary Glasgow put the game away with a goal for Kansas City during injury time. The Wizards have won two straight to improve to 13-5-5 for 44 points, most in MLS.
