Lyght Signs 1-Year Deal with Rams

August 3, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Todd Lyght will be on the practice field today. The Rams’ pro bowl cornerback has ended his holdout and signed the Rams’ one-year offer for just over 4-million dollars. Lyght wanted a multi-year contract with the team. Lyght’s signing mean’s the team now has no interest in veteran free agent Phillippi Sparks, who worked out for coaches this week. That workout may have sparked Lyght to come to camp. Lyght will not play in the Rams’ pre-season opener Saturday against Oakland.
