Missouri delegates to the republican convention were in a tizzy over the address of their vice-presidential nominee. Former Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney spoke last night. Delegates say they agreed with nearly everything Cheney said and believe his quiet, steady leadership is a good complement to presidential nominee George W. Bush. None of the delegates seemed to worried that Cheney doesn’t have a flashy speaking style. Jefferson County delegate Janet Englebach called Cheney, “perfect.”
