If you believe the media polls, the Missouri Tigers are in for a long season this fall in the Big 12. The media has picked the Tigers to finish last in the North Division of the Big 12. Nebraska was picked first in the North, ahead of Kansas State. Colorado, Kansas, and Iowa State were also picked to finish ahead of the Tigers. Texas was selected to win the South Division. Missouri defensive end Justin Smith was named to the pre-season all-conference team.
