Gaming group promises good things

July 28, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The company planning a casino in a small Jefferson County town is promising to be a good neighbor. Isle of Capris plans to break ground near Kimmswick later this year. Company spokeswoman Lori Huntzler says her people plan on being good neighbors to the small rural community and not to bulldoze their ideas without talking to local leaders. Huntzler calls Capris unusual in the gambling community because it makes each boat alike. The Biloxi, Mississippi-based company has casinos in its home state, plus in Louisiana, Colorado, and Iowa.
