Drug Charge Gets Mokeksi Fired

July 28, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Before he coached a game, Paul Mokeski has been fired as the coach of the ABA’s Kansas City Knights. Mokeski was charged with cocaine possession this month in Wisconsin. Knights GM Tom Cheatham says it was a tough decision, because he considers Mokeski to be a good person, but the team needs to move on. Cheatham says the search for a new coach is underway, and he hopes to find someone with Kansas City ties.
