Blues defenseman Todd Rierden is recovering from surgery on his foot. Rierden broke three bones during an off-ice workout. The Blues have signed a pair of minor league free agents to multi-year contracts. Forward Chris Murray played in 32 games with the Dallas Stars last year, and defenseman Bryce Salvador has played the last three years in the Blues’ minor league system.
