July 27, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The U.S. House of Representatives is ready for full debate on legislation aimed at cracking down on production and use of methamphetamine now that Missouri Senator John Ashcroft’s anti-meth bill has cleared a key House Committee. The bill, which passed the Senate last fall, calls for $55 million dollars to be spent to fight meth. The Ashcroft bill calls for new resources for enforcement, cleanup, prevention, and rehabilitation services.
