Another riverboat for St. Louis area

July 27, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri Gaming Commission has decided the area south of St. Louis needs a riverboat. Commission Deputy Director Kevin Mullaley says the $100 million dollar casino shouldn’t pull gamblers away from the other three boats in the immediate area. Commissioner’s yesterday approved a final investigation for a 35,000 square foot boat in eastern Jefferson County, a few miles south of Arnold. The Mississippi-based Isle of Capris company already owns the Flamingo Hilton casino in Kansas City and has started on another boat in Boonville.
