Don’t look for an end over disagreements over seizure laws in Kansas City. U.S. Attorney Steve Hill tells the Kansas City police board that Missouri law leaves some loopholes and the area is still being negotiated. He says the trick is matching the sometimes contradictory state and federal laws with judge’s rulings on the matter. He expects the FBI and state police agencies to continue talking. In the meantime, a lot of seized money won’t make it to schools.
