The killer of an FBI informant has been involved in a jailhouse attack on the man accused in the death of a ten-year-old girl. Detailed jail records discovered by reporter Dan Verbeck at Missourinet affiliate KMBZ show pre-trial inmate Keith Nelson acted with arrogant bluster when he first arrived. It finally ended on December 29th when another inmate awaiting sentencing for killing a federal informant slipped a padlock inside a sock and bludgeoned Nelson repeatedly over the head. Records show Nelson weeping and crying to guards to call his lawyer. His trial is set for October in the molestation and murder of Pamela Butler.
