Rams Quarterback Kurt Warner has agreed to sign a one year contract for the minimum salary so he can practice while his agent works on a long-term deal. Warner is signing for just $358,000, against the advice of his agent, because he doesn’t want to miss any time in training camp, which starts today. Kevin Carter has decided not to hold out, though he still wants to re-negotiate his contract. Carter is scheduled to make 1.1-million dollars in the final year of his deal. The Rams have signed first round pick Trung Canidate and third rounder John St. Clair. Only Todd Lyght, who has no contract, will be a no-show when camp opens today in Macomb, Illinois.
