Meth cleanup climbs

Police agencies are seizing tons of materials from methamphetamine labs and don’t have space at the police stations to store them. Some are dangerous. The natural resources department has just opened its 15th drug lab station where police can store seized materials until DNR disposes of them. Ken Teeter, the head of the environmental emergency response sectionsays his division handled 10 to 12 tons of materials from meth labs last year.
