Danforth clears feds at Waco

July 21, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Missouri Senator John Danforth has exonerated the federal government in the 1993 fire at the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco, Texas. Danforth released the findings of the investigation during a St. Louis news conference. He says the investigation found David Koresh and his followers entirely responsible for the fire that destroyed their headquarters. About 80 followers and Koresh himself died in the fire that followed the federal government’s raid after a 51 day siege.
