On the heels of last week’s deluge that destroyed or damaged dozens of homes in the Springfield area, the heavens have opened again. Areas that saw more than a half foot of rain last week are getting hit again. By mid-morning today, parts of Greene County had already received 3 to 4 inches of rain. More than an inch fell in a half hour’s time at Springfield-Branson airport.
