New catholic at the capitol

July 20, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The new executive director of the Missouri Catholic Conference isn’t sure he will assume as high a profile as the person he succeeds. The Reverend Larry Weber has taken the position vacated by Lou DeFeo, who became well known as the architect of the infanticide bill passed by the legislature over Governor Carnahan’s veto. Weber says he will be ready if called upon to do the same. Weber has extensive experience in government, working for the Attorney General, the State Senate and the State Tax Commission.
