The Attorney General’s Office has filed a lawsuit against MCI-Worldcom, claiming the company is using deceptive practices in one of its popular campaigns. Attorney General Jay Nixon says it’s a clear case of a company not being truthful. Nixon says things such as fees for the calling plan are in small type while Wile E. Coyote and others parade across television screens. Also, the company fails to make it clear the plan applies only to calls made outside the state on evenings and weekends.
