Al Gore’s visit to Kansas City gave Republicans in the area a chance to criticize the Vice-President about victim’s rights legislation. Cass County prosecutor Chris Koster says democrats delayed support for the amendment in April to make it a campaign issue in November. He says the Clinton-Gore administration blocked the measure. Koster says the bill would have become law sometime in the last 8 years if democrats really believed in it.
