Republicans are happy, democrats are less than pleased with passage of legislation in the U.S. Senate to cut the so-called marriage penalty. Bond says Democrats should put an end to their class warfare talk because all married couples benefit. He says millions of married couples would not be forced to pay more than if they were single. He calls claims that tax relief shouldn’t go to people who pay taxes is “just hogwash.”
