Two more Olympic gold medalists will compete in the national gymnastics championships in St. Louis next week. Shannon Miller and Dominique Dawes, who won gold for the U.S. in 1996, plan to take part in the event at Kiel Center. Miller and Dawes were granted berths in the championships because they are former Olympians. Three other members of the 1996 team, Amy Chow, Dominique Moceanu, and Jaycie Phelps, will also compete at Kiel. Those championships, and the Olympic trials in August will determine who makes this year’s Olympic team.
