Vice President Al Gore brought his presidential campaign to Missouri with a rally last night in Kansas City. 1,000 people showed up to see Gore speak. He promised to fight for working families and those who don’t have another champion. Former Kansas City mayor Emanuel Cleaver is Gore’s Missouri campaign manager. Cleaver discounts polls that show Gore down by 10 points in Missouri. He says internal polls show their candidate down just 3 points.
