White House Cancels Rams Visit

July 18, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The White House has bumped the Rams to second string. The Rams were scheduled to make their visit to the President today, but the White House has withdrawn the invitation because President Clinton is tied up with the Mideast peace talks. The White House says it hopes to re-schedule, which could be difficult, becuase the Rams open training camp Friday. Rams head coach Mike Martz has elevated two assistants to help him with his new duties. Martz has made running backs coach Bobby Jackson offensive coordinator, though Martz will continue to call the plays. Al Saunders has been given the title of associate head coach.
