The agent for Chiefs offensive lineman Dave Szott says he will report to training camp when it opens later this week. Szott has asked to be traded or released so he can move closer to New Jersey, where his son, who has cerebral palsy, attends a unique school. Szott had hinted that he might retire rather than play for the Chiefs, but his agent says Szott would prefer to play football this season. Coach Gunther Cunningham says he would probably agree to let Szott return to New Jersey after each game Sunday, and not return to Kansas City until Wednesday. Szott has started at left guard for the Chiefs for the past ten seasons.
