Pembroke Hill High School will appeal part of the penalty it received for playing the Rush brothers when they were ineligible. Pembroke officials say they will accept the forfeiture of the three state titles and the games in which Kareem and JaRon Rush played, but they want the ban on post-season play lifted. They say the ban unfairly punishes current players at the school for past transgressions.
