Chiefs Top Pick May Miss Mini-Camp

July 18, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Chiefs open a two-day rookie mini-camp in Kansas City today, but their top rookie may be missing. First round pick Sylvester Morris, a wide receiver, has not signed a contract, and says he may miss the camp. The Chiefs have four other unsigned picks, including second rounder William Bartee, a defensive back. Bartee says he will participate in the mini-camp. Chiefs training camp opens Friday in River Falls, Wisconsin. Players may not participate in that camp without a contract.
