Cardinal outfielder Ray Lankford has left the team to return home to California after his brother was shot and killed. 20-year old Percival Thomley was shot Sunday morning and died in a Los Angeles hospital. Cardinal general manager Walt Jocketty says he doesn’t know when Lankford will return to the club, but says it likely won’t be before the team travels to Arizona on Wednesday.
