A new group charged with finding more teachers for inner-city schools also wants to take care of the ones we already have. The Regional Partnership intends to recruit more teachers through scholarships and other means. Project Director Marsha Clark says they also hope to support the new instructors once they take their jobs in urban St. Louis. A 3-year federal grant is funding the office. The Regional Partnership is holding an information and recruiting session next week at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
