Hundreds of thousands of Missouri homes should have received reports by now on the quality of their water. State law requires water suppliers to file reports with their consumers each year. Some are mailed out with bank statements, some are mailed on their own, and some are posted in public places. Environmental specialist Terry Timmons with the state Natural Resources Department calls the reports good reminders for people to be interested in the quality of the water they drink.
