Carnahan doubts Young appeal

Governor Carnahan says he hasn’t heard anything new to halt the execution of Mose Young, who received a stay from a federal appeals court. But the governor says it’s appropriate to get to the bottom of any allegation. He’s not convinced the complaint has any validity but is willing to wait while the process works itself out. Young’s attorney’s claim a prosecutor in St. Louis threatened a staff member who planned to criticize Young’s original defense attorney.
