Three of the female gymnasts that won gold medals with the U.S. team in the 1996 Olympics have qualified for the U.S. Gymnastics Championships which will be at St. Louis’ Kiel Center starting July 26th. Amy Chow, Dominique Moceanu and Jaycie Phelps all qualified. Two other members of that ’96 team, Shannon Miller and Dominique Dawes, may be granted spots in the championships in St. Louis. The top 12 finishers in St. Louis, for both men and women, will advance to the Olympic trials, which will be held in Boston in August.
