State officials have re-opened the Delaware Town Access to the James River, west of Nixa. It was closed this past weekend following the recent deaths of two people. But Mark McCarthy with the state Department of Conservation says the area must be open to those who know that this is not a swimming area. Several people have died in the same spot, which is clearly marked, “No Swimming”, in the last 10 years.
