Barnes-Jewish is ranked in several sub-categories including respiratory disease, kidney disease, and heart surgery. The hospital is also honored for its care of ear, nose, and throat patients, urology, and hormonal problems. Barnes-Jewish has made the U.S. News list eight years in a row. This year, the hospital is tied with Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Johns Hopkins Hospital won top honors for the ninth year straight.
